In order to build this scope, I had to have the basic woodworking tools.
Table Saw, Router (routah), bandsaw and Drill Press and decent hand
tools.
The project took 3 months to complete, in the middle of a hot summer
at that.
Every major assembly had to be built twice. That was the learning process.
I was happy tohave it square and straight. "Pretty Appearance" soon became
a moot point.
My neighbor helped with welding the mirror mount's mount.
The final result:
It worked GREAT.
The optics I bought new, the mirror mount was a hi quality Meade unit,
that was a factory reject, due to offset mounting holes.
